Su debut como cantante comenzo en un show de television en Ecuador. Depues de recibir respuestas calurosas y positivas de su audiencia televisiva, Viajo a participar en numerosos festivales a traves de todo el pais Luego Neil O' fue el cantante lider de un muy bien establecido grupo de nombre los "Fabulosos del Rock" y despues al grupo de rock "Fenicons" en el cual demostro su talento en numerosas actuaciones al rededor del pais.A la edad de 22 viajo a New York donde estudio canto, locucion y animacion.
