Banjo John got me playing old time music about 1999, we started Slackjaw in 2001. After a couple guitar players we finally got Jeff Kelley, a great guitarist that had played with many great traditional bands as well as rock. Ian started sitting in with us and was so good we offered him a full share of the booty. John moved away in 2004 but we sure had a great time as Slackjaw String Band.
