Ill go home on my own. I closed my eyes in frustration and quickly opened them again. I stood up and started walking down the block to the bus station. I felt someone grab my wrist, so I jumped as my natural instinct. I screamed so loud, he took my face in his hands and kissed me. I pushed myself away. R- You think kissing me is going to fix this! J- Fix what Renee? I DONT EVEN KNOW WHAT I DID WRONG! I sighed and continued walking towards the bus. I didnt hear footsteps behind me so I turned around and saw Joe staring at me. I turned back around and walked to the bus stop. I sat down on the bench and just stared into space until the sound of the screeching bus tires erupted my thoughts. I got onto the bus and sat there leaning my head against the window with the tears running down my face. A girl around my age sat next to me and looked at me. ?- Are you alright? After he successfully teamed with Shepard Fairey to produce and distribute the now iconic HOPE posters for the Obama campaign, and landed as the Director of Communications at the National Endowment for the Arts, Yosi Sergant, originally from Culver City and raised Jewish, found himself in the midst of political controversy when he was accused of being a "Nazi propagandist" by Glenn Beck in September 2009, based on a recorded conference call. He was re-assigned within the NEA, and then resigned in the Fall of 2009. Sergant has all but lay to rest his passion for the intersection of activism and art. Just four weeks ago, Sergant moved back to Los Angeles - and with Jennifer Gross (Evolutionary Media Group), and Apple Via, and a slew of sponsors/partners (including: Courage Campaign, Human Rights Campaign, moveon, Planet Illogica and Logo TV...and Progressive Jewish Alliance) has put together an art exhibit in demonstration against Prop 8 and in general, for equality (which is interpreted also in promotion for health care reform). The opening night party featured the opening night with Marisa Tomei, Heather Graham, and other celebrities, a speech by Cleve Jones, musician Ben Lee, and plenty of people-watching of the Hollywood crowd in attendance. Called "MANIFEST EQUALITY," March 3-7, 2010.
